Internet Domain Registration has changed
dramatically in the past years. If you are a customer who used our service before Feb 15, 2000,
or if you are simply dissatisfied with your current registration
company, you should be aware of the new transfer and renewal options that can benefit you in many ways
including:
- Lower prices
- Flexible renewal terms
- Friendly customer support
- Easy management with our real-time Domain Manager
DomainNameRegistration.com
works to provide you
with the prompt, reliable, and customer-oriented registration service that you
deserve.
If you wish
to continue using DomainNameRegistration.com services
for a renewal term, you will have to take the positive step of changing the
current registrar which you inherited under the old monopoly system. This
transfer involves little more than filling out a simple online form - a
process that should take only a few minutes. Once you make the transfer, you
will not have to do it again. A guide to the complete process is available
here.
In transferring your domain you will be renewing
the registration by
a minimum of one year ; however, you will also have the option of renewing up to a maximum of ten
years. We offer options for 1, 2, 5, and 10 year renewals (see below).
Please be assured that the official or legal status of your domain name is
not in any way adversely affected when you transfer domain registrars. Your domain resides in the same official central registry that contains
every other .com, .net and .org domain.

If I transfer and renew now will I lose any of my
registration time?
No. If you wish to transfer and renew your domain registration, there is no reason to delay.
The renewal period begins when the existing term expires, so that no time is
lost that
you have already paid for. (example: If your domain expires on July 1, 2001
and you renew the domain for two years on May 1, 2001, your new registration
will expire on July 1, 2003)
How can the online Domain Manager help me?
Almost everyone at some time needs to update some information in their
domain registration record - keeping accurate, current information is, in
fact, a legal requirement. Such changes might occur, for example, in
an address, telephone number, or the name servers that support your web
site. With our real-time Domain Manager, you can go online at any time
of day or night and make these changes by simply entering the new
information in the user-friendly interface. You can even make a change
of ownership in this way! By comparison, the old monopoly registrar
(probably your current one) requires sending awkward forms back and
forth, and even notarized statements to make such changes. Anyone who
has labored under that frustrating old system knows that they deserve some
relief ! You can view our Domain Manager here.
What if I want to remain with the present registrar?
We sincerely regret losing any customer, but that is your privilege.
Please remember that if you choose to remain with your present registrar,
and if you haven't already done so, you must associate your renewed domain with
both a new Technical Contact and new Name Servers (DNS). The validity
of the Technical Contact and the Name Servers supplied by our company will
expire with the current registration term. Any renewals based on our Technical
Contact and/or Name Servers without permission can jeopardize the legality of
your registration according to Internet regulations, and will make you liable
for our full yearly service charge for these resources (currently US $35 per
year).
This fee is entirely separate from and in addition to any fees that may be
imposed by your present registrar.
