File Commander and Web based text file editor: several mechanisms accessible from the Account Manager give you the option to upload, edit, copy, etc. your website files directly from your web browser. This is especially efficient and useful for minor updates to your html files.

The File Commander is a utility with a graphic interface that allows you to perform several file functions directly on the server without the user having to know the Unix command language. It performs similar functions as Windows Explorer (Win95/NT) or File Manager (Win 3.1/WFW). The user can create or delete directories and files in their account, move and copy files between directories. With a Netscape browser (v 2,3, or 4) or the release version of Microsoft Explorer 4, users can also upload files into their directories without having to use an FTP utility.

The File Tool editor allows users to edit text files or raw html code directly ("live") on the server. The changes take effect instantly. This eliminates the need for webmasters to change html code first on their client system and then having to upload the new version to the server.
