American TopDomain offers a powerful search utility for your web sites. The Yahoo-style extract text search utility aids in extracting a record or record(s) that contain certain keywords (e.g. temperature, humidity) from textual databases. It is recommended for informational databases that can be arranged in records (separated by blank line) such as personal records, phone listings, product catalogs. It's versatile, fast, easy to use, and highly user configurable. More details are provided in our Users Guide, accessible to American TopDomain customers.

The extract search engine is record oriented and will provide powerful search capability to your virtual web site.

Extract search demo

As a demo, we provide two sample textual databases. The first one contains some facts and figures about Annual Events held in the mythical town of Comp City, and the second one contains some important Comp City phone numbers.

You may wish to browse the first database and the second database for now, then pick up a few key words (separated by space) and enter them in the following search form to get a feel about the extract's performance and capabilities. Note that hyperlinks (and graphics too!) can be embedded in your textual databases, as shown in the first database file.
